     On February 1, 2011, Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) announced that a capesize vessel, the Navios Altamira, was delivered to its owned fleet on January 28, 2011. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated herein by reference.

Navios Maritime Holdings, Inc. Announces Delivery of Capesize New Building Vessel
PIRAEUS, GREECE, Feb 01, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — Navios Maritime Holdings, Inc. (“Navios Holdings”) (NYSE: NM), a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced today that the Capesize vessel Navios Altamira of 179,165 dwt was delivered from a South Korean shipyard to Navios Holdings’ owned fleet on January 28, 2011. The vessel is chartered-out for 10 years at a net rate of $24,674 per day.
