     On September 23, 2010, Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the delivery to the Company’s owned fleet of the Capesize vessel Navios Melodia on September 21, 2010. In addition, on October 4, 2010, the Company announced the delivery to its owned fleet of the Capesize vessel Navios Fulvia on October 1, 2010.

Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. Announces Delivery of Capesize New Building Vessel
PIRAEUS, Greece, Sept 23, 2010 — Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. (“Navios Holdings”) (NYSE: NM), a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced that the Capesize vessel Navios Melodia of 179,132 dwt was delivered from a South Korean shipyard to Navios Holdings’ owned fleet on September 21, 2010. The vessel is chartered-out for 12 years at a net charter out rate of $29,356 per day with 50/50 profit sharing in excess of $37,500.

(“Navios Holdings”) (NYSE: NM), a global, vertically integrated seaborne shipping and logistics company, announced that the Capesize vessel Navios Fulvia of 179,263 dwt was delivered from a South Korean shipyard to Navios Holdings’ owned fleet on October 1, 2010. The vessel is chartered-out for 5 years at a net charter out rate of $50,588 per day.
